The year 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, a sympathetic, vivacious, and tenacious animal that stands for tolerance and treating people with respect. Join Asia Society Texas in celebrating the Lunar New Year with performances, art projects, and cuisine influenced by regional Asian celebrations!
On our festival lawn, traditional lion dancers will perform while you sway to their music. Through crafts, performances, and activities geared for all ages, discover the many Lunar New Year customs from throughout the world. Children will also get a limited number of red envelopes.
The public is welcome to attend this program for FREE, however, RSVPs are required for preparation. The selling of food and beverages will be possible. Tickets are required for Huaxing Arts Group Houston's musical and dance events.
