Welcome to Hobbygram where you can gift & accept contributions towards memorable experiences for your child directly on your phone.

How it works (Host):
Step 1: Choose a class/activity for which you would accept a contribution for your child
(i.e. swim lessons, baking classes, STEM camps, theme parks, music class, scouts, etc, etc.)
Step 2: Contact Hobbygram to receive your digital link
Step 3: Include link within the e-invite to your guests
Step 4: Your guests can now digitally gift a contribution towards your child’s activity for which you will receive a gift card

Let’s face it, when it comes to the current way of gifting: Parents deserve better. Kids deserve better. That is why when you add convenience + mental health + sustainability + skill building + fun = you get Hobbygram.

As a parent, we love to host birthday parties and create memories for our kids. However, we also dread the experience afterwards. You may know the feeling.…… Lugging all the toys back to the house you just decluttered. Next, you find some of the toys are not appropriate for your child. Fast forward not even 24hrs only to witness “the one and done” - where the toy is left collecting dust never to be played again.

The time spent buying the gifts is greater than the time spent by your child actually playing with the gift!



On the flip side, there is the predicament of the gift giver. Struggling with what to buy, scrambling at the last minute to shop, and then stressing about where you last put the gift wrap. Who has the time for such a manual and outdated process in 2023!?!

Whichever side you find yourself in, there’s also a bit of an empty feeling you get with participating in such a temporary and materialistic tradition. Not to mention, the guilt you feel when throw all of that packaging away. In this day and age where mental health and environmental awareness is paramount, it’s time to consider a different way. It’s time to start thinking more of how we can give our kids the gift of hobby, skills, interpersonal interactions, and experiences versus showering them with throw away gifts.
