In the summer months from June to August 2024, Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO) musicians are bringing the ASO Tuneful Tales series to 16 branch locations of the Austin Public Libraries. This renamed event, formerly known as Children's Day Art Park, invites families to participate in a series of free concerts and interactive arts activities designed to introduce children aged 0-10 to the world of performing arts. Each session features a lively woodwind quintet performance by ASO musicians, promising an enriching experience where families can engage with music and storytelling at their neighborhood libraries.
